These 7 layer magic bars are really 8 layer magic bars but could be made 6 layers or 9 or even 10 layers. Because you can add whatever you want to these bars. I’ve never added pretzels and potato chips before but really wanted a salty addition to these often overly sweet bars. To take these bars over the top make your own graham crackers and sweetened condensed milk! Links below.

7 Layer Magic Bars

1 sleeve of graham crackers (about 9) or 7 to 10 homemade graham crackers

6 tablespoons butter, melted

1 can sweetened condensed milk (I made my own following these instructions)

1/2 cup white chocolate chips

1/2 cup dark chocolate chips

1/2 cup toasted coconut

1/2 cup toasted chopped pecans

1/2 cup pretzels, broken up into pieces

1/2 cup potato chips, broken up into pieces

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

In a food processor or blender, blend the graham crackers into crumbs. Add the melted butter and blend.

Pour into an 8x8 inch pan and press into a flat layer. Add white chocolate chips, then dark chocolate chips. Then pecans, coconut flakes. Pour 3/4 of the sweetened condensed milk over the bars. Then add potato chips and pretzels on top. Pour the rest of the sweetened condensed milk on top of pretzels and potato chips. Bake for 25 minutes until golden brown on top.
