Small Batch Peanut Butter Rice Krispie Treats

This is a recipe for small batch peanut butter rice krispie treats!

This was a recipe born out of the depths of my pantry. I had all these ingredients taking up room and came up with this idea for a small batch of rice krispie treats, made interesting with peanut butter and crunchy Japanese peanuts!

Small Batch Peanut Butter Rice Krispie Treats

1/4 cup butter

10 large marshmallows

2 tablespoons corn syrup, optional

1/3 cup peanut butter

1/3 cup peanuts, chopped

2 ounces rice krispy cereal

Instructions:

Combine butter, marshmallows, and corn syrup in medium sauce pan over low heat. Stir constantly with wooden spoon.

In a separate medium bowl, combine peanuts and cereal.

Continue stirring the marshmallow mixture until completely melted. Stir in peanut butter. Pour over cereal and peanuts and mix together. Press into a loaf pan lined with parchment paper. Chill. Drizzle with melted chocolate.
