Hot Honey Hot Fudge Sundaes/Banana Splits
Two things I LOVE:
RESTING
EATING
And that’s what the weekend is for.
Hot fudge sundaes are a perfect weekend treat. Because the hot fudge sauce is easy to make. And because you get to combine ice cream and fruit and anything else you have lying around into one super satisfying dessert. The best way to end a long week.
Instead of regular honey I wanted to add some complexity to the hot fudge sauce by using HOT HONEY. Hot honey is honey with peppers and chilies added for that extra spicy kick. My hot honey didn’t end up very spicy (next time I will add more peppers!) but it did have a really nice floral taste that elevated the hot fudge sauce. You can of course use regular honey or corn syrup or agave in place of the hot honey.
Enjoy!
